Alumni Spotlight: Uziel DominquezUziel Dominquez is a 2014 OLQA graduate. We recently caught up with Uziel to learn about the ways that OLQA prepared him for high school and beyond.
Q. What did you enjoy the most about attending OLQA?
I appreciated the hands-on approach that my teachers took with us. The classes were lively and we had various opportunities to grow academically and spiritually.
Q. How did an OLQA education prepare you for your future endeavors?
OLQA had tons of extracurriculars such as yearbook, soccer, Math Olympiads, student council. There really was something for everyone. These activities helped me open up and try new things. OLQA was also instrumental in helping me apply to high school. Ms.Suib, the high school advisor, helped me find a high school and worked with my family so we could meet all the deadlines. Today, I am a student of Regis and a proud OLQA alum.
Q. What is your favorite OLQA memory?
I don’t have a specific memory, but I loved the teachers. Their dedication to us and OLQA continues to amaze me!
