Congratulations Class of 2015!

July 24, 2015

OLQA’s class of 2015 first joined our community in 2007 as PreK students. Under the guidance of their PreK teacher Mrs. Camacho, whose own son is in OLQA’s class of 2015, they learned the rules of the classroom and what it means to be a good friend. Their class has grown over the years, gaining new members and learning from OLQA’s best teachers. This June, OLQA graduated 30 intelligent, compassionate young men and women who have very bright futures. All students in the 8th grade class applied to and were accepted into a Catholic high school, many to one of their top three choices. These schools include Xavier, St. Jean Baptiste, Loyola, Cardinal Hayes, and Cristo Rey.

We are extremely proud of the people they have grown to become and we wish them the best on their journey in high school and beyond. As one of our 8th grade graduation speakers, Lucinda Ruiz, said, “I can see light in all my peers; I can see us all moving forward to great colleges and greater futures.” We wish the class of 2015 the best of luck on all their endeavors and remind them that they are always welcome to come back to OLQA.
